First Generation was founded by Karen and Michael Crum, out of their passion for helping those in need. They especially have an affinity for seniors and have always spent time trying to help when they can.
Michael is no stranger to non-profit organizations as he spent many years on the local board of the Arthritis Foundation. He was exposed to the needs of seniors in his work with the Arthritis Foundation as well as working with clients of his for-profit firm, Financial Planning for Generations (FPG). It is through FPG that he has been able to connect with the many professionals who donate their time and resources to the foundation. He identified early on that others wanted to give back as well, and he felt that a collaborative effort would benefit the most seniors. |
