First Generation Foundation was established to provide free critical financial services to low-income seniors in the Conejo Valley , San Fernando Valley , and surrounding areas of Southern California .
The number of seniors in our local communities who live at or near the federal poverty level is staggering. Faced with making decisions between paying bills and purchasing medications and food is a common occurrence. The fixed income that many seniors rely on is becoming increasingly insufficient, making it difficult to access important resources and services related to their finances and estates. Completing tax returns, reviewing insurance needs, budgeting, and simple estate plans are often overlooked or are unattainable.
FGF has gathered the support of local professionals who specialize in the areas of tax, estate planning, insurance, and investments to provide free advice and services to these seniors. |
